    Abstract:

    The low-resolution analogue data transmission of geost ation ary meteorological satellites will be changed to digital data transmission,i.e. , Low Resolution Information Transmission (LRIT). The LRIT transmission conte nts, transmission modes and system layout and the LRIT comparison of satellite o perators in the world are described.
